Wave-ice-structure interactions

As ice retreats, more and more human activities will take place in the so-called marginal ice zone where the presence of waves have to be accounted for. This simulation demonstrates the simulator’s capability in:

1. Coupling the influence of waves, structure and a large amount of ice floes;
2. The motion of the structure and individual ice floe are simulated;
3. Wave attenuation and its effect on the ice field is also simulated.
