Arctic Offshore Structures

SAMS offers all levels of solutions to your Arctic offshore structure, from conceptual design, detailed design and to its operation. Both fixed and floating structures can be simulated within SAMS. For the industry, it is often of interest to predict the action from ice (first- and multi-year, level ice and ridges) on fixed single and multi leg structures, and floating structures. SAMS can capture the effects of ice-structure interaction for the predicted failure mechanisms in ice. In addition, SAMS can also offer a proper understanding of the difference between moored structures and fixed structures in ice with respect to ice failure mechanisms, or the loads and parameters that affect the dynamics of the coupled system.
